Jason Lazarus Brightens My Day

I saw a  picture over on Flak Photo yesterday, and I thought "hey, that's really clever, I like that contemporary picture". And then I saw the artist was Jason Lazarus and took a little trip over to his site and saw his Wall of Fire photo, which I realized I had admired months ago when it was in a limited edition print sale over at Humble.

I had even asked for funding to buy it, though that didn't work out.

So, anyway, here's my chance on this new blog to say: "hey guys, me too! I like Jason Lazarus too!"

That is all.

I was trying to remember why I recognized Jason's name and then it finally hit me - he was my Photography 2 (color) teacher when I was an undergrad at Columbia College Chicago. Fantastic guy and teacher.

love this. that contemporary shot was in one of the shows at the nyphoto festival.
